Cecil Township Municipal Authority Monthly Meeting
The board discussed a variety of engineering and project management matters, including the Village of Lawrence Collection System Agreement, the Rudzik project maintenance, and unresolved complaints. The meeting covered the approval of a final Penvest payment request and the project closeout for Traditions of America Phase Seven. There was consideration of bond reduction applications for the Silver Creek Plan Residential Phase Two and Iron Ridge Phase One. Additionally, updates were provided on the Millers Run Lift Station emergency repairs, permit submissions for the Cherry Brook Lift Station, the Millers Run Nighttime Flow Isolation Study, and a capacity analysis for the Cool Valley development.
The board addressed two primary agenda items. The first involved a special exception application for property improvements, including landscaping and parking modifications, resulting in the board granting several dimensional variances and waivers. The second item was an appeal concerning a previously issued permit for a slide structure, where arguments were presented regarding the zoning officer's authority to issue the permit, with the township seeking its revocation.
