Epcsc Live Stream Meeting
The meeting commenced with a pledge and recognized the Golden Girls Club with a spotlight on excellence for their positive impact on students. Key agenda items included the approval of the current agenda and financial items for January, such as bank statement balances, CD rollover, monthly claims, and transfers. The board approved personnel items. Discussions focused on the Winnac Tree Committee's plans, including planting 15 Crimson King maple trees around the softball field, planting a Liberty Elm on the Palasky County Courthouse lawn in partnership with America 250, donating saplings for Arbor Day, and planning Arbor Day activities. The board also approved the selection of Zo Education (formerly ENA) as the preferred provider for 2026 internet services, involving an upgrade to 1 gigabyte of dedicated service. Furthermore, numerous donations were accepted, including funds for elementary school supplies, a third-grade field trip, classroom resources, FFA, and prom, as well as over 60 'go bags' donated for emergency use. Finally, a presentation was given regarding the need to replace the original, non-ADA compliant elementary playground equipment, with a proposal to redo both existing playgrounds.
