Town Of Poolesville Planning Commission Planning Commission Meeting
The commission reviewed and passed a plat for the re-subdivision of properties located at 2105 Fisher Avenue and 5 Holler Court. Members discussed a proposed ordinance amendment to Section 8, Parking, which aims to provide commercial developments with greater flexibility by allowing them to present parking plans based on specific usage data rather than adhering to rigid existing standards. The proposal intends to unify the parking code by removing unnecessary separations between non-commercial and commercial use categories, while emphasizing that applicants must provide substantial data to justify parking needs.
