Reconstruction of Runway 1R-19L & Associated Taxiways, IAD (Request for Proosal)
Project consists of reconstruction of runway 1R-19L and associated taxiways. Description: implementation of a phasing and maintenance of traffic plan throughout all phases of construction; implementation of a pollution prevention plan throughout all phases of construction; site demolition - this includes pavement demolition and removal of miscellaneous items including utilities; drainage - this includes installation of a new drainage system throughout the runway complex including underdrain pipe; fencing - this includes the installation of temporary and permanent AOA fencing to facilitate the runway reconstruction; pavements - this includes new PCC pavements for runway 1R-19L and taxiways and asphalt pavements for should rehabilitation and widening.
