Replacement of 12 ADA curb ramps at various intersections in the Borough in the Base Bid. All ADA curbs will be replaced at Various location. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: reconstruction of four (4) Type B catch basins; removal and replacement of 600 LF of 9x18 Portland cement concrete curbs; removal of 210 SY of existing concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons; installation of 220 SY of 4" thick, NJDOT Class B concrete sidewalks; installation of 100 SY of 6" thick, NJDOT Class B, reinforced, concrete ADA landings and aprons; installation of fifteen (15) cast-iron 2'x4' detectable warning surfaces; and, placement of 400 SY of top soil (4" thick), seed, and salt hay. Other work required includes sign. replacement and removal and replacement of traffic striping and markings.

Bed preparation applies to all continuous shrub, groundcover, and mass planting bed areas. After rough grading, scarify subgrade across the entire bed area. Remove all construction debris, roots larger than 1 inch diameter, and stones larger than 2 inches from the top 8 inches of soil.
